Sip Magic is built on a simple idea: honest, fresh-roasted Chikmagalur coffee at fair prices.

In the 1950s, my grandfather, Late Shri Sreenivasa Setty, planted more than just coffee—he planted a legacy. The second generation carried it forward with Mr. Jayaram, son of Late Shri Sreenivasa Setty, improving productivity per hectare through better nutrition and farming practices, and raising the bar on produce quality.

Today, it is spearheaded by Shri Nakul Jayaram and his wife Smt Sruthi Nakul, bringing a fresh perspective to the coffee business that the current generation demands—freshness, consistency, transparency, and value.

Nakul set up new roasting units, including modern roasters like the Probat P25 with roast profiling and automatic roasting to reduce human errors and ensure repeatability and consistency. We also set up Espresso Labs to fine-tune our coffees in real brewing conditions.

As demand grew, the coffee we produced wasn’t sufficient on its own—so we collaborated with different farms and moved to direct sourcing, cutting out middlemen so we could pass the cost advantage back to customers as better pricing and better value.

Sruthi, a software developer, brought strong UI/UX thinking to make the online transition smooth and the website experience clearer from browsing to checkout.
